Key Practice Areas

• Estate planning. The firm prepares all times of estate-planning documents, from the basic to the complex, including wills, revocable living trusts, irrevocable trusts, charitable trusts, asset-protection trusts, and private foundations.

• Business Planning. The firm forms business entities, including corporations, partnerships, limited partnerships, and limited-liability companies. We also prepare and review business contracts, buy-sell agreements, and business-succession plans. We can advise businesses on tax matters and work with business owners to devise business-succession plans.

• Probate and Trust Administration. We handle probate and trust administration cases of all types and sizes. We can prepare or assist in the preparation of federal estate tax returns (IRS Form 706), court petitions, and fiduciary accountings. We can represent fiduciaries or beneficiaries in disputes relating to wills, trusts, and estate matters.

Appointments

• Consultations by appointment. Call 702-255-4552 or 866-740-9195 to schedule an appointment for an office visit or, if travel to our office is inconvenient, for a telephone conference.
  
  
• Low-Cost Initial Consultation. For most new clients there is a nominal fee ($100) for the initial consultation if the consultation is either in our Summerlin office or via telephone. This usually covers one hour for the initial estate-planning consultation and a half hour for other consultations on other matters. Ask about the fee when you schedule your appointment. (Out-of-office consultations are billed at our standard billing rates, including round-trip travel time.)
  
  
• Review of Existing Documents. In lieu of an initial consultation, we can review existing estate-planning documents to discuss possible changes, such as updating to conform documents to changes in laws or a change of residence. If you are interested in this, please send an e-mail message to office@rushforthfirm.com or send a fax to 702-255-4677 or 866-740-9197 listing the documents you would like us to review and what you want us to be looking for. We will then contact you to let you know what we can do and what charges might apply. For many clients, we review their existing estate plans and prepare a brief memo for the $100 that would otherwise be charged for an initial consultation.
